Consultation

All of our consultants are based in the UK and work for the NHS. They are all UK trained, General Medical Council (GMC) registered and are Members/Fellows of the Royal College.

We encourage our patients to have a list of regular medications and results of previous test results/scans to hand. Please complete the questionnaire included in the confirmation SMS/email prior to their initial consultation

Yes, a passport or driving licence are required for your identity verification, to show at the beginning of the consultation. We encourage our patients to have a list of regular medications and previous test results/scans to hand. We also ask you to complete the health questionnaire included in the confirmation SMS/email before your initial consultation. 

At eConsultantClinic, we believe in providing exceptional care digitally. The ecc specialists are able to complete the consultation within the allocated time for the appointment. Should you want more time to discuss your symptoms, you can book a further follow up consultation. 

This up to you the patient. Some patients prefer video consultation, whilst others prefer a traditional telephone conversation. You’ll still get the same great service with either option. 

Yes, our specialists can prescribe medications for you.

You can choose to purchase the medications privately from our dedicated pharmacy partner. Alternatively, we can send a recommendation to your NHS GP along with the consultation summary.

The cost of medications varies, our pharmacy partners will be able raise an invoice against the prescribed medication and contact you by Phone, SMS, or email.

You pay directly to our pharmacy partner.

Medications will be delivered to your door using a dedicated courier within 24-48 hours after payment with no extra delivery costs.

No, e-ConsultantClinic is a self-referral service. Our consultants will send a consultation summary to your GP. 

We do not currently accept health insurance. However, our fees are transparent and the same for everyone with no hidden charges.

The amount will be credited to your account details.

You can speak with our Live Chat or contact us using the link in the bookings email. We can then change the appointment for you and arrange a new booking if required. Alternatively, we can provide a refund should you wish to cancel. 

As long as we are informed 12 hours before your consultation, we are able to provide a refund. For cancellations with less than 12 hours’ notice, unfortunately, no refund is eligible. 

When our consultant completes an e-prescription, you will get a text/email/call from our pharmacy partner, with an invoice for the price of the medications. If you wish to proceed, you can make a payment directly to the online pharmacy and the medication will be delivered to you. 

No. We operate on a transparent, and simple pricing structure. The price displayed is the only amount we charge. 

No, you only have to pay e-ConsultantClinic, and we will take care of the rest. 

You can either opt to get your medications delivered to you or our consultants can send a letter to your GP, recommending the medications. Your GP can then prescribe the medications, if they agree with the recommendation. 

We have partnered with some of the largest independent providers of clinical laboratory services in the UK. There are 2 types of blood tests- Home tests and In-person tests. When our consultant recommends blood tests, you can choose to have a home test or an In-person test. An invoice is then sent to you. Should you wish to proceed and make payment, a home test kit will be sent to you if you chose a home test. If you chose an in-person test you will need to attend one of our 159 partner locations.

When you book a Home test, a kit will be delivered to your address with instructions on how to collect the blood and a stamped return envelope that can be dropped off at any royal mail post box.
Only select blood tests can be performed with the home test kit. Please check the ‘Laboratory tests’ page for the list and prices. One of our admin team would be more than happy to assist if you need further information.

In-person blood test- You will require to call the booking team and make an appointment to attend any of the 159 locations that suit you.

You post the sample in an enclosed stamped return envelope that can be dropped off at any Royal Mail post box.

You can book a follow up consultation with your consultant to discuss the results. 

The duration to obtain results depends on the type of blood test, most of the results will be available within one week. 

After the consultation, you will receive an invoice for the blood test by email, if you wish to proceed, payment is made using our secure online portal. 

In our pricing section, you will find the cost of your blood test. Our admin team will be able to advise you on the cost as well. 

Yes.

Yes, we have partnered with a reputable radiology service provider to carry out Ultrasound imaging, X-rays, CT and MRI scans.

You can find the cost for your scan in our pricing section, our specialist will be able to advise you on the cost as well.

After the consultation, you will receive an invoice for the scans by email, if you wish to proceed, payment is made using our secure online portal.

Our radiology partner will contact you by phone or SMS , You will then be able to agree the date, time and location of our scan.

After your scan, the results will be available within 48 hours.
